This trip to Burnside Lake, Lost Lake & Blue Lakes starts with traveling through the Picket Junction and Hope Valley which is famous for their unspoiled and magnificent beauty. The route then travels up Blue Lake Road traversing the mountainside above Crater Lake and then plunges down between Red Lake Peak and Stevens Peak into the Faith Valley. Much of the route is on a 4-wheel dirt road and is considered a very low degree of difficulty that focuses much more on spectacular scenery than challenging terrain.
